System Test Engineer for Components - Timisoara location Timisoara , West Romania

YOUR TASKS // You will be working within Hella Romania Design and Development Center from Timisoara as we are looking for Test Engineers in our Component Division in order to begin and develop our test activities in this new line of business.You will apply global standards and automotive processes for functional and qualification testing; collaborate with cross-functional teams to assure the highest quality standards for our innovative and market leader products during the development and production phases.You will be responsible for performing different test in areas like: mechatronics, environmental, electrical and functional testing. Being in charge with: test definition based on customer specification or international automotive standards, test setup, monitoring during execution, parametric test, results/errors analysis, reporting, sample testing and return parts analysis. As part of your job, you will also ensure support for our production test teams, as well as to our clients. You will define and apply methods and strategies to perform system test considering quality/cost/time principles based on agreement with internal and external stakeholders.  

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS // In order to be successful on this position you will have bachelor's degree in Electro-technics, Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering. You will have experience in mechatronics (DC motors) and qualification testing. Experience in handling of test equipment like: oscilloscope, HiL, environmental equipment and other mechanical specific tools is also required. You have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as you’ll be working with different locations/teams. You must be a self-starter who will take the initiative to find solutions and solve problems. You are open-minded for continuous improvement of our test solutions. You have a good level of working English. Your previous work experience in automotive area is a plus.
