YOUR TASKS // You will be working within the Hella Corporate Center Romania which operates and administrates the company's business divisions. You will support the project team by including suitable vendors into the simultaneous engineering processes, starting with the quotation and concept, allocation of new parts, components and tools. You will participate in the standardization of components and cost reduction by using alternative production processes for the manufacturing of the delivered parts and materials of high complexity at a high purchasing volume. You will participate at negotiations with vendors and you will prepare confidentiality agreements, development contracts and nomination letters. You will accompany the purchasing process during the product development, starting with the quotation and concept to the StartOfProduction (SOP) (committing to the serial purchaser and ordering production planner). You also need to obtain, evaluate and negotiate offers regarding material and individual costs for the start of production with high complexity.    

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS // In order to be successful in this position you should have a technical university degree. You need minimum 3 years experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in automotive industry. You also need knowledge of contract law, controlling and Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge MM module would represent an advantage. You have strong knowledge of negotiating techniques and basic technical knowledge. Fluency in English language is mandatory; German language skills represent an advantage.
