Mechanical Engineer - technical designer for automotive mechatronic components Timisoara , West Romania

Your Functions // You will be working within Hella Romania Design and Development Center from Timisoara where you will be responsible for the structural design and calculation of the mechanical components. Your duties are challenging and varied; you will coordinate technical requirements directly with our customers in the automotive industry. Alongside development studies for innovative new products, you will also be carrying out design vehicle applications for existing products. Quality-assurance measures as well as tolerance calculations and design FMEAs are also part of your work. In addition, you coordinate sample production and testing and implement the resulting optimization measures. Within the context of our Time to Market process, you will take an active part in project team meetings and support team members from other departments involved in the development process. You present and represent the results of your work both within the company and/or at the customers.

Your Competence // Your profile is as varied as your new duties. You will have successfully completed a course of studies in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Precision Engineering. You have one to three years professional experience. You have working experience in the design of plastic parts and / or die cast parts. You have experience in designing with CATIA V5. You are familiar in dealing with quality methods. Ideally, you have knowledge of project management. Also, you have a good command of English and German would be an advantage.
