• Ensure that during the watch duty all Engineering Spaces have been duly inspected and
abnormal situation reported.
• Any spillage or cause of pollution is prompt reported and adequately controlled and
cleaned.
• Do not operate voluntarily any Machine without previous authorization and supervision of
Engineering Officer on Duty.
• Implement all Safety advises in handling Chemical Products and usage of Personal
Protection Equipment.
• During overtime at instruction of Chief Motorman for cleaning and painting works.
• Any additional duty as required by the Chief Motorman / Staff Chief Engineer.
• Ensure that all aspects of company's OH&S are effectively applied during his/her working
activities.
• IMO Certificate - Rating forming part of a Engine Watch
• Current and valid Basic Training Certificate as per STCW 95 Regulation
• Current and valid Crowd Management Certificate, Company will provide this course within
first contract.
