RESPONSABILITATI

Java Developer in charge of the implementation of Alfresco web content management system. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be given the opportunity to not only grow your development skills but continuously enhance your open source software knowledge. You will learn new business processes and automate them with today’s hottest technologies. You will work with other software developers, architects and project managers to create custom applications and help to introduce new capabilities and services for our customers. As a member of the team, you will have the chance to work on unique and innovative solutions in a variety of platforms and various verticals.

Project activity:
- Typical project duration is 12-14 weeks;
- Most of our Java projects are custom development work, frequently using Hibernate and the Spring Framework which provide persistence and configuration capabilities;
- Additional components are used based on the needs of the project but often include Lucene (search), SpringMVC/Struts/WebWork (MVC), Axis/XFire (web services), and ActiveMQ (JMS);
- Applications are most often deployed to Tomcat or JBoss depending on the J2EE services required;
- Development teams use an extensive suite of open source development tools including Eclipse, Maven, Continuum, and Subversion for development activities;
- Candidates can expect to work on 3-4 projects/year;
- Travel will be required to make sure everyone ramps up on the project(s) as quickly as possible. During the project, travel will be limited, although some flexibility will be required, in case on-site presence is required.


CERINTE

Technical skills:

- 3-5 years experience in Java programming;
- EJB3/JSF/SpringMVC/Hibernate;
- Struts;
- JBoss Seam;
- Web Services (SOAP / XML-RPC);
- JavaScript / AJAX;
- Apache/Tomcat;
- Alfresco is a plus;
- JasperReports is a plus;
- Maven2 and Ant;
- familiar with build processes a plus.

Other requirements:

- Excellent communication skills are required in English;
- The candidate should also have strong analytical skills, good organization skills and attention to details;
- Enthusiasm;
- High degree of operational readiness;
- Team spirit.
