Our client is a fast growing, privately owned supplier of components & turnkey industrial plants to gas, process, heat & environmental industries, headquartered near Vienna.
The company typically supplies the oil and gas industry (countrywide, with focus on Transylvania) and the regional suppliers, producers and equipment manufacturers.
Our customer now intends to expand its activity on the Romanian market where is already present through a small office. To support this objective our customer is currently looking for a qualified person to join its team in the positions of COUNTRY SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Branch Manager based in Targu - Mures or Cluj.
Tasks & responsibilities
- client acquisition within gas industry in Romania : producers & suppliers
- technical and commercial handling of inquiries
-processing inquiries & drafting proposals to clients
- closing the deal & delivery
- building up infrastructure (new office, employees)
- reporting
- active participation on continuing education, both on the job and within training programs
- following the valid company and group guidelines
Education / Training:
- technical education (process engineering, mechanical engineering, gas technology) college or university
Language & IT skills
- Romanian native speaker
- English (or German) fluent; Hungarian optional
- IT-user knowledge (MS-Office)
Requirements - general
- Romanian citizen
- Resident of Cluj or Targu Mures regions
- Valid driving license
Professional track record
- Min. 5 years working experience in gas / oil industry preferred, contracting) in sales, purchasing or project design (proof)
- exposure to international companies of advantage
