Our client is a multinational company, a growing and highly competitive player in the industrial gases market.
In order to strength the organization and to support its objectives, the company is looking for a qualified person to join its team in the position of:
PROJECT MANAGER
Objective:
The job holder has the responsibility for Management of several projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall project execution (time schedule and budget)
- Ensure engineering coordination of different Engineering Centers of our client
- Initiate and coordinate the pre-construction studies (presentations, invitations to tender, etc.)
- Responsible for locally planning, procurement and management of suppliers
- Responsible for cost estimation and budget control
- Ensure that all required permits and certificates are in place for the installation and commissioning activity, and maintain relations with the necessary authorities.
- Responsible for health and safety coordination, quality control and environmental management
- Responsible for implementation of corporate company guidelines (for example: client¿s IMS system).
- Maintain contacts with clients, suppliers, government, authorities and other institutions
- Supervise contractors to avoid construction delays and develop solutions to issues as they arise
- Prepare progress reports, verify subcontractor¿s payment applications, and provide information on construction costs for monthly budget reviews
Work relationships
- the job holder reports to the Technical Manager of the subsidiary
- the job holder collaborates with technical structures in other subsidiaries of our client;
- the job holder collaborates with colleagues in the company;
- the job holder does not have any subordinates;
- place of work: Bucharest.
Education, training and work experience
- technical university degree;
- previous experience in a similar position: industrial experience with large industrial Investment projects, with long implementation duration is recommended;
- foreign languages: English (is a must), (French would be an advantage);
- PC skills: MS Office;
- Driving license: B category;
- willing to travel - domestic and international.
