Our client, Vogelsang, now in its 78th year, is the inventor and worlds largest manufacturer of the rubber lined rotary lobe pump and also RotaCut macerator. The products are sold into many markets including the water/oil/biogas/ abattoirs/transport and chemical industries to name a few.
In order to launch and strengthen its position on the Romanian market, our customer is currently looking for a high professional in the position of:
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Purpose:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the launch of a start-up subsidiary in Romania, in cooperation with company’s headquarters.
Responsibilities:
His/her main responsibilities have to do with developing and managing a sales force and service network for the company's products.
Supervise all aspects of business:
- Sales, ordering, invoicing
- Accountancy, cash and finance
- Legal
- Recruitment and personnel management
- Hands-on Salesman who has proven experience in sales of investment goods/machinery or plants
- Experience in waste water industry
- Knowledge and experience in positive displacement pumps
- Management abilities to handle a small sales- and service-company in Romania.
- Good language skills in German or English
- Technical education, preferable a mechanical engineer.
