Our client is a small multinational company, essentially a family business, leader in Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking markets, specialized in children's books publishing.
In order to launch and strengthen its position on the Romanian market, our customer is currently looking for a high professional in the position of:
Managing Director
Purpose:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the launch of a start-up subsidiary in Romania, in cooperation with company’s headquarters.
Responsibilities:
His/her main responsibilities have to do with developing and managing a sales force and distribution network for the company's products.
Supervise all aspects of business:
- Sales, ordering, invoicing
- Accountancy, cash and finance
- Legal
- Relations to suppliers
- Logistic and warehouse
- Stock management
- Recruitment and personnel management
- Marketing policy
- At least three years sales experience, publishing industry background a very strong preference
- Knowledge of relevant distribution channels (bookstores, hypermarkets, retail toy stores etc.)
- Excellent written and spoken use of the English and/or Spanish language
- University degree or equivalent is a definite plus
- Good computer skills (Windows/Office)
- Even though the priority is on sales and distribution channels experience, strong managerial and administrative skills are also appreciated
