- Analyzes the business requirements in order to find out the proper solution for implementation / customization / upgrading / integrating the specific systems;
- Designs architectural solution, including appropriate application of techniques and standards such as service-oriented architecture, web services, Application Program Interfaces (APIs), Messaging Software etc;
- Ensures that the group architectural rules are applied; maintains and promotes use of appropriate design techniques and methodologies;
- Develops and maintains system process flows, diagrams and data architecture documents for the specific systems;
- Provides technical direction regarding solution design and development; provides knowledge leadership in technology standards and architectural governance;
- Ensures that current and future roadmap of the system(s) is well understood and applied in current and future IT strategy, goals/needs of the business;
- Shares technical knowledge/best practices/standards and procedures among the team members.
- 5 years of IT experience required; Telecom experience is a plus;
- Proven Architecture background (applications, data, security and infrastructure ideal);
- Background implementing n-tier, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA);
- Solid background in Java/ J2EE, Applications Servers, etc.;
- Ability and desire to communicate the value of technology and change;
- Advanced level experience in: languages, hardware, software, tools, technologies etc.;
- Ability to build relationships and influence others;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Good command of English language.
