- Operates computer workstation to update maps as new data is received relative to new development, projects and zoning requirements.
- Creates new computer programs or edits existing programs, using GIS software (ArcGIS, MapInfo) in order to produce maps and automate procedures;
-Will focus primarily on the design and development of ESRI based solutions;
- Updates parcel and attribute database using GIS software.
-Graduation from a college or university with coursework in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography or other related field(s);
- Experience with ArcGIS/ArcObjects and MapInfo software;
- Experience of at least 2 years in similar position;
- Knowledge of relational database modeling principles is required;
- Oracle, Oracle Spatial, and SQL programming skills;
- Knowledge of UNIX (Solaris) environment;
- At least 1+ year of experience in the field of Telecommunication is a plus;
- Very strong computer literacy;
- Organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize them, strong team mentality;
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
