Our client is one of the first and most known producers and distributor of furniture on the Romanian market since 1991.

For end of 2006, to strengthen the organization and to support this objective, you plan to recruit the following position:
¿ Direct Sales Manager
Job purpose: Responsible for developing direct sales of company products and all related sales activities to designate strategic, major customers or Key Accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Development of key account within the company¿s strategy
- Lead complex negotiations with major / key customers or prospects of the company
- Signalising, controlling, proposing sales development and marketing strategies and assists the Commercial Manager / General Manager in establishing the objectives, strategy, policies
- Maintains a watching brief on developments within customers¿ organisations which may affect future business
- Guaranty the right management of all the commercial information and check their consistency: potential customers, competitors, opportunity..
- Is aware on new needs and new comers on the market
- Use, customize and deploy the offers of the Group, or create new one if necessary, in order to differentiate from the competition
- Analyse the current situation and the future stakes, in order to define the right commercial strategy for the subsidiary
- Responsible for turnover, market shares, budgets and profitability and sales estimation
- Prepares proposals for short and medium term forecasts and targets
- Prepares sales reports for the Commercial Manager
- Provides clients with company information
- Co-ordination of promotion activities
- Direct control of daily activity (orders, deliveries, payments, avoid out of stock, monitoring the competition activities, payments )
- Develop the autonomy of his collaborators by an appropriated management style, depending on their individual level
- Contribute to the hiring process of the future sales forces
- Evaluate, identify strengths and progress tracks of his collaborator, and built individual training program, fix individual development objectives


CERINTE

Requirements
¿ Solid commercial experience :
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience on the field, with int¿l industrial goods company or int¿l FMCG
- ¿capable of closing a deal¿, with a proven track record
- High commercial acumen
¿ Management experience
- one (at least) successful experience as team leader, budget responsibility, and big customers responsibility e.g. as Regional Sales Manager
¿ Tools :
- Familiar with figures ¿ translate reports into actionable goals
- IT-user skills (MS-Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
¿ Fluently spoken and written English
¿ Native Romanian speaker
¿ Willing to travel ¿ domestic
¿ 30 - 40 years (indicative)
