To establish network architecture, High Level Design, Low Level Design and implement IP data networks and Services
To participate at integration and testing of the IP Core Data Network elements and performing the Acceptances with the vendors
To perform the VPN connections between Cosmote and other companies pursuant to Services Department demands
To participate to the Core Data Network by maximum using of existing resources
To ensure efficiency by maximizing the usage of network resources
To assure support in operations according to procedures;
Responsible for integration and implementation of other network elements
To proactivly monitor Key Performance Indicators for all network elements, network areas and Services and to initiate plans to overcomebottlenecks
To propose and document projects for new capabilities and services taht bring benefit to Cosmote
To prepare requirements and collaborate with equipment supplier to develop and optimize the network
To test and implement new network nodes, hardware upgrades and software upgrades
To elaborate and maintain the proper network documentation taht is used by Dat Network and by Senior Management
To prepare and document network changes as work orders and submit them to O&M division for execution.
University graduate (Electronic & Telecommunications faculty or Automatics faculty)
4 – 6 years experience in a similar position. The experience in mobile telephony could be an advantage
Very good knowledge of routing protocols (IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS)
IP Virtual Private Networks (IPSEC VPNs, MPLS-VPNs and other types of VPN’s)
IP/MPLS technology (MPLS VPNs, MPLS TE, L2 VPN, IPv6 over MPLS, mVPN etc)
Securing IP networks (Cisco/Juniper/Checkpoint firewalls, inspection of GTP)
IPv6
IP Multicast
Knowledge about GPRS technology
Experienced with DNS servers and DNS protocol
Good command of English
Analytical thinking
Ability for planning and organizing the actions pursuant to priorities
