Our client is an Austrian based environmental technology present in Romanian since 2001. The Group employs over 800 people, with manufacturing plants in Austria, Hungary and Romania.
The Company is currently looking for excellent candidates in the position of Chief Accountant
Purpose:
The purpose of the Chief Accountant is to ensure an effective and efficient recording, processing and reporting of all financial transactions of the company in order to provide accurate information to the Financial Director and to comply with all statutory recording and reporting requirements under IAS.
The job requires extensive traveling within Romania.
University degree in an appropriate field (accounting, finance)
Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting related position
Minimum 1 year experience as Chief Accountant
Minimum 1 year experience in a supervision position
Excellent knowledge of Romanian accounting system and the related laws
Good knowledge of IFRS
Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and/or English and Romanian
Knowledge of procedure writing methodology
Good problem solving skills
Good planning and organizing skills
Good training and coaching skills
Good interpersonal communication skills
