Our client provides heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning equipment to a full spectrum of commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
On 2005, the company was acquired by an international group to form the largest global provider of integrated products, systems and services in the buildings market.
Our customer is currently looking for a high professional in the position of Business Unit Controller.
Objective
· Support local Finance Director (FD) and branch managers with setting up the annual
operating plan, monthly forecasts and business outlooks
Main tasks and responsibilities
· Monthly analysis of financial results of the branches, conduct monthly performance
reviews with the regional management.
· Collaboration in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing/reporting for both –corporate
and statutory purposes.
· Support development of local reports & distribute management reports, prepare display
material for presentations
· Special Projects, e.g. integration of newly acquired companies, due diligence
· SOX Compliance
Reporting
· Reports to the Local Finance Director
· Dotted line to Regional Controller
· No direct reports
Education
· University degree in Business Administration or Finance
Languages
· English - fluent
· Native speaker of local language

Requirements
· 3-5 years in finance department of ideally international industrial company (US based
company is an advantage) or accountancy firm
· Sound US-GAAP / local accounting requirements plus reporting knowledge
· Very good MS Office knowledge, iSCALA, Hyperion knowledge or comparable
ERP/reporting Systems
· Ability to apply, execute and maintain function related quality issues
· To become the back up of the local Finance Director (FD) and potential successor when
