- Interface with business users to gather and document user requirements and translate those requirements into working data model designs; work with business users to sign off requirements;
- Prepare high level and detailed design specifications and documentation of the entire BI development process;
- Configure BI and DWH systems in order to meet the business requirements and assures prompt and correct implementation;
- Learn the data models of source systems and the reporting databases and leverage that knowledge in support of users and reporting projects;
- Interact with vendors in order to ensure that deliveries are of good quality and meet user requirements;
- Participate in testing of new software shipments to ensure the business requirements are met;
- Create/Update documentation for the implementation of the features in the system as required by the office/department policy;
- Technical or scientific degree/diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering;
- At least 4 years of experience in IT, preferable in area of DWH and Business Intelligence
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL;
- Strong knowledge of Unix shell script;
- Good knowledge of Unix;
- Knowledge of GSM technology and services is beneficial
- Good knowledge of programming language (C/C++ or Java) is beneficial;
- Solid understanding of technology trends and the impact of technology on business functions.
- Fluency in English.
