- Maintains BEA in all productive systems;
- Responsible for designing, implementation, administration, maintenance and monitoring of BEA environment;
- Controls functions that update BEA versions or releases;
- Recommends actions and also produces documentation for proper usage of BEA Environment;
- Supervises and supports personnel in operation activities on BEA platform
- Reports on BEA problems to vendor;
- Participates in new releases of application S/W and procedures in testing and pilot run;
- Participates in the logical and physical BEA design for applications (on-line and batch), if requested.
- Technical or scientific degree;
- Certification in Java administration would be an advantage;
- At least 2 years of experience in J2EE application server administration (WebLogic, Jboss, WebSphere);
- Experience in administration of near-real-time or real-time systems;
- Basic knowledge of Java development;
- Basic knowledge of UNIX administration;
- Basic knowledge of Networking;
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
