Responsibilities:
- Professional and personal leadership of the team (quantitative and qualitative planning and staffing, development, education and retirement);
- Leading and developing the direct subordinated accounting Team Members;
- Involved in the definition and monitor the objectives and duties for the teams;
- Involved in the definition of service level agreements for accounting services and responsible to monitor the adherence;
- Measures to improve accounting team performance;
- Involved in the elaboration of accounting principles and responsible to monitor the adherence;
- The job holder is responsible to ensure the adherence of his team to the following regulations and rules: Romanian statutory accounting rules, IFRS rules, Romanian Tax rules and laws, company Accounting manual;
- The job holder is responsible to monitor the adequate collection and filing of all documents;
- The job holder is responsible to coordinate, supervise and monitor all processes and duties within the accounting team;
- The job holder is the interface to the Head of Accounting Office.
Your qualifications:
- University degree in Economics and professional accounting experience in a leading position, preferably in the oil industry;
- Profound SAP FI knowledge;
- Experience as a team lead in the past (people, budget, results and quality responsibility);
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/IAS);
- Good Romanian language skills (written and spoken);
- English proficiency (written and verbal);
- Good analytical and communication skills;
- Pragmatic work approach, high motivation and initiative taking.
