-To check the alarms coming from MSC/BSC and transmission and to solve the uncomplicated alarms, in accordance with OPI (Operational Instruction). In accordance with the outage’s magnitude, for complicated alarms she/he will require superior technical assistance;
-To keep up to date all the databases related to transmissions systems; to keep track of all connections in the distributors within network nodes: cross connect assignations etc; to keep track of all work orders regarding nodes connectivity;
-To monitor transmission network using the network management systems; to monitor the network performance and act in accordance with standard procedures in order to maximize the network performance;
-To participate in installation, upgrade and acceptance activities of switching equipments;
-To perform preventive maintenance activities for switching and transmission equipments.
-University degree in electronics, telecommunication or related fields;
-Experience in working with Switching equipment and related equipments;
-Experience in working with different radio transmission equipment (MW) or other transmission equipment;
-1-2 years technical experience in network field equipment maintenance would be an advantage;
-Technical experience in mobile radio networks operation would be an advantage;
-Good knowledge of wireless telecom technologies;
-Good knowledge of English (both written and spoken);
-Microsoft Office suite and Internet using proficiency;
-Clean driving license (more than 1 year).
