Directs production operations and ensures that plans, policies and budgets are adhered to meet the required volume, quality and efficiency objectives;
Optimizes production plan to achieve the plant target in the most effective and economic way;
Is responsible for production success of the company;
Creates and promotes investment plans;
Ensures that planned production, volumes, quality, costs and efficiency targets are met. Monitors and analyses production costs and takes measures to keep the lowest cost within the defined production targets.
Ensures that factory maintenance and investment projects are well planned, staffed and carried out within deadlines and budgets and according to company policies in order that the plant and all equipment is maintained efficiently with lower costs and to obtain optimum manufacturing efficiency;
Ensures that trough procedures and controls, production output complies with company standards and implements actions to increase quality awareness among the staff in order to meet or surpass the goals at lower costs;
Reports to his/her supervisor regularly in production, results, plans and arisen problems;
Deals with local authorities in are areas where is involved.
5+ years Leadership experience s Production or Operations Manager from a manufacturing company, preferably from an international company;
Technical university graduate preferred (e.g. specializing in engineering, manufacturing or mechanics);
Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary team (production planning, production, maintenance domains), establishing performance objectives and evaluating them (feed-back & follow up);
Experience in investment projects (feasibility, planning, coordinating, implementing and results monitoring);
The ideal candidate is an individual who can work independently providing managerial support;
Experience in SAP, ERP, specialized maintenance software would be a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
Flexible but accountable for the output of his/ her work and paying close attention to meeting his/her targets;
Able to thinking out of the box;
Capable of working in a team environment;
Proven record of creative thought processes and problem-solving techniques;
Sound ability to creatively solve problems at a rapid pace;
Self-organized, used to work on agenda (prioritizing tasks, setting clear objectives, keeping track records of the projects / tasks, follow up deviations from plans);
Proactive, dynamic, self-motivated;
English – fluent
Valid driver license – B category.
