Our client is a multinational company, a growing and highly competitive player in the industrial gases market.
In order to strength the organization and to support its objectives, the company is looking for a qualified person, for the plant opened in Braila to join its team in the position of:
Plant Manager - Filling (Acetylene) in Braila
Objective:
The Plant Manager is responsible of all the aspects of the production , i.e. coordinating, supervising and analyzing overall production operations of cylinder fill plant, to ensure timely distribution of gas products to clients (external and internal). He must ensure the plant operations in compliance of safety, reliability and quality standards while considering budget and deadlines. He is responsible of the plant maintenance operations, team management, working relations and process improvement
Main Responsibilities
Production Management and cost control
- Develops and follow up the production plan
- Determines production priorities while considering effectiveness and costs
- Makes plant and process decisions and proceed troubleshooting
- Ensures the execution of the predictive and preventive maintenance
Process improvement
- Establish and follow up the performance indicators (technical and financial)
- Compares performance indicators with objectives for productivity and costs control. Benchmark with other plants
- Participates to technical development studies or projects
- Proceed to productivity improvement by setting relevant action plan
Ensures the Products quality and Safety
- Operate the plant in compliance with all governmental regulations and AL rules
- Analyzes operation reports to identify non-conformities, their causes and set corrective actions
- Ensures that the customer complaints process is effective and that addressing all possible issues,
- Interfacing with HSE department for
a) Ensures that the facility is operated in a safe, reliable and efficient manner, preserving the environment
b) Ensures safe handling, storage and filling of cylinders
- Implement Quality Management according ISO 9000
Production Team Management
- Defines the production tasks for the plant and defining each operator¿s specific tasks in accordance with country laws and AL best practices
- Ensures that training and qualification processes are implemented and that quality procedures are followed by the all staff of the plant
- Proceed to team performances appraisal
Promote Working relations
- Ensures within the plant team a smooth communication mode
- Organizes and conducts the regular meetings with representatives
Work relationships
- the job holder reports to the Technical Manager of the subsidiary and the Industrial Director CE
- the job holder collaborates with technical structures in other subsidiaries of our client;
- the job holder collaborates with colleagues in the company;
- subordinates: Operator (Handling & Filling), Stock Coordinator, Maintenance staff

Education, training and work experience
- technical university degree ¿ Engineering - Industrial;
- previous experience in a similar position: industrial operation experience;
- foreign languages: English
- PC skills: MS Office;
- Driving license: B category;
- Willing to travel - domestic and international.
