RESPONSABILITATI

Creates, develops and implements politics, methods and procedures for the acquisition of raw materials and services that optimize the costs.
Supervises the acquisition process of the wood raw materials;
Actively involved in forecasting price changes, procurement schedule, use of internal capacity, plans acquisitions according to the budget;
Elaborates and implements the strategy for maintaining relationships with the suppliers;
Optimizes the acquisition process and results for all companies in the group, develops and implements a tracking system for the acquisition activities;
Identifies the area and the suppliers with high costs in order to inform over the future contracting policy; evaluates various acquisition channels in terms of quality, offered services and cost;
Negotiates long term contracts in order to provide optimal costs and the delivery on time of the raw materials;
Maintains relations with suppliers and contractors in order to assure the most reliable sources of information and acquisition;
Negotiates contracts for the group , follows and monitors their implementation;
Supervises the gathering and analyzes the information for every company in the group regarding acquisitions that could lead to a signed contract at group level;
Delegates and supervises the Buyers through the process of selecting suppliers and negotiating contracts;
Solves all conflicts regarding the acquisitions protecting the interest of the company and also be fair to the supplier;
Assures the efficiency of the acquisitions department; creates a standard for the acquisitions departments and unifies the process;
Offers support for other functional departments of the company;
Manages the budget of the Acquisitions department, the facilities, warehouses and equipment; sets priorities according to the available budget lines;
Reports periodically on acquisitions and relations with suppliers, performs analyzes and comparisons on acquisition process efficiency;
Manages, coordinates, controls and motivates his subordinates in the Acquisition department;
Evaluates his subordinates and establishes with the HR department their needs for development, training and management.


CERINTE

Working Experience :

Minimum 10 years of experience, working in big companies with substantial acquisition budgets;

Minimum 5 years of experience in managing commercial acquisitions contracts;

Minimum 2 years of experience managing a Procurement & Acquisitions Department, Commercial or Logistic Departments.



Education:

University degree – Technical field, ideally Forestry studies;



Skills & Competencies:

- Acquisition experience in wood industry is considered a plus;

- Managing and coordinating teams;

- Strategic vision, business acumen and leadership;

- Solid knowledge on principles, methods, and management practices on acquiring goods and services , deep understanding of commercial risks;

- Proven skills on defining, implementing and monitoring procedures specific for Procurement & Acquisitions;

- Experience in managing relations with big suppliers;

- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
