From this position, You will be offering remote 2nd level support for Solaris systems.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will consists in:
- Performing a defined System Administration and support tasks necessary to maintain Solaris Server systems at optimum working level
- Maintenance of Solaris Server systems at the appropriate operating system patch and hotfix levels in order to maximize systems security availability and reliability.
- Management of Solaris Server environments in accordance with defined Service Levels
Our successful candidate should have the following abilities & know how:
- Proficient in Business English
- Experience with UNIX operating systems
- SUN Solaris 8,9 and 10 know how
- Basic trouble ticketing system knowledge
- Availability to travel abroad for training on the job
- Availability for flexible working hours and on call duty
- Team skills, results and quality orientation, customer focus, ability to learn, good organizing skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Understanding of ITIL Service Delivery and Support disciplines and methodologies
