Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for its client, an international transport solutions company, a Trucking Planner/Dispecer
Overall description of the job:
Interaction with drivers, dispatchers and transport companies in different countries within Europe, being multitasking and accurate in verifying, informing and providing proper solutions to operational matters.
Responsibilities:
* Planning, organizing and coordinating the daily activities of transport;
* Follow up transport activity (of trucks and personnel involved);
* Verifying/ checking drivers activity and trucks position;
* Informing drivers or subcontractors about transport details (loading/ unloading, goods, etc.);
* Using specific monitoring systems and transport management systems;
* Using specific tools to update the required information;
* Calculating routing and monitoring the general performance and utilization of the trucks.
Required Qualifications, experience and education:
* Organizing skills;
* Solution-oriented and problem solving skills;
* Hands on mentality;
* Strong motivation to work in transports;
* English – conversational.
Preferred Qualifications and experience:
* Graduate of the Management in Production and Transportation Faculty;
* Working experience in transport.
