For our offices in Timisoara we are seeking Translators for English-French, English-Italian or English-German languages.
As a Translator you will be part of the in-house Translation Team. You will take over responsibility of the translation/ coding projects assigned to you. This includes managing and performing translations using the internal company tools for translation (SDL Trados/ SDLX). In addition, you will take over coordination tasks to manage translation/ coding projects for internal as well as external languages in line with timing and budget requirements.
What you will do/ learn:
• Take over the translation, and in some cases, coding of survey projects in your language(s)
• Perform translations and TM maintenance using the CAT tool SDL Trados 2007 (SDLX)
• Be responsible for completing the assigned projects on time and in budget
• Be in contact with external resources, assign translation/ coding tasks on time and in budget
• Effectively communicate with Project and Sales Managers to ensure customer’s needs regarding translation/ coding are met and understood
• Escalate project or outstanding issues to the Team Leader as soon as identified
• Update all internal tools on a daily basis in order to keep track of the project status
Your profile:
• University graduate, preferably with focus on translation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English/French/Italian or German (TOEFL, CAE, DALF, ZD or translation authorization are a plus)
• Experience in Translation or in an international corporate environment is a plus
