- Receives/reviews scope of work or business proposal, requests pricing information & estimate
- Responsible for supplier selection
- Owns the relationship between the company and the supplier
- Negotiates and signs contracts with suppliers for internal and customer directed projects
- Prepares and issues purchase order to supplier,contract management
- Regular reporting ( monthly, quarterly)
- Cooperation with APC (Hungary) through Content
- Manager (POQ) - handling of questionable invoices versus Purchase orders
- Updates to the Vendor Master File in accordance with companies` policies and procedures
- Builds the stakeholder network within the client for their commodity(i.e. identifies the key stakeholders who are spending money on this category and create a team)
- He/she will be the primary interface with the client in Europe on the realization of joint strategic and tactical sourcing objectives for this Category
- Focus on driving total influencable spend and ongoing process improvements with the client
- Thought leadership in developing creative sourcing solutions for client requirements
- University Degree(Finance and Accounting, and/or Engineering)
- Minimum 5 years Accounting /finance experience(prior experience with large multinational companies is a plus)
- Ability to assess and cope with speed of business
- Ability to undertake and solve multiple tasks simultaneously
- Production Procurement Experience (e.g. Build to Specification, Manufacturing Equipment)
- Very good analytical skills
