From this position You will be offering 2nd and 3rd level support for Siemens IT Solutions & Services and their customers.
Specific OS administration tasks, according to job profiles:
- incident & problem management
- change management
- configuration management
- capacity management
- availability management
- release management
- participation in global projects as subproject managers or project managers
SAP Administration (ABAP+Java):
• Starting and stopping SAP R/3 systems
• SAP single stack/double stack, central/distributed installation and configuration
• Performing client copies (remote, local, export/import)
• Homogenous system copies with sapinst and backup/restore
• Administration of printers in SAP R/3 systems
• Printing administration for SAP R/3 systems. Administering SAP Printers and spool processes, TEMSE, OS queues: Xprint
• Solution Manager Configuration
• User and rolles and profiles management
• Administration of the Transport System
• SAP performance tuning, buffer analysis and parameters adjust
• Applying the Support Patches and Corrections, Upgrade SAP kernel level, applying OSS notes, new languages import, enhancement package installation
• Java Stack Troubleshooting
• SAP installations
Minimum 1-2 years on SAP Basis administration;
General knowledge of IT processes & operations;
Basic know how in Windows, UNIX with the specialties of Linux, Solaris and AIX;
Principle of UNIX cluster systems and details of MS Windows cluster systems;
TCP/IP;
DNS;
