RESPONSABILITIES :
- Develop competence on new features of the Alcatel Evolium equipment and releases related to Radio Network Planning and Optimization
- Keep contact with the project engineers in the field and extract needs for future developments and improvements
- Develop new methods/services to carry out Radio Network Planning & Optimization, and perform its first-off application in the field worldwide
- Make this new methods/services general available within Alcatel by providing the necessary documentation and training
- Create specifications for the Alcatel tools based on Evolium feature descriptions, specifications from standardization bodies and field needs
- Perform training for internal/external customers
- Perform workshops with potential customers
- Use your competence to support projects
- Back office by daily email support
- On-site missions are foreseen
- Propose new features and functions for the Alcatel equipment
The job is based in TIMISOARA and involves national and international short term travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electronics & Telecommunications Faculty or Automations & Computers Faculty degree
- Advanced knowledge in Mobile Communications technologies
- A significant experience in radio network planning and optimization or in 2G / 3G telecom protocols following a previous experience within a mobile operator or a BSS/UTRAN equipment supplier is requested
- Standard Windows PC knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Project management skills
- English ¿ fluent in speaking and writing
- Ability to give commitments and take responsibility
- Ability to present a topic in front of customers
- Be innovative and flexible
- Ready to travel and work in a highly dynamical international team and environment
