For our Engineering Location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our Information Systems Passenger Cars department.
We provide the automotive industry with a wide range of innovative components and comprehensive system skills in the field of interior electronics and infotainment solutions. In a huge number of cars, million of people daily enjoy the benefits of our instrument clusters, central information displays and rear sit entertainment.
Today a lot of electronic modules support the driver and the passengers in a car to move safe and comfortable across the streets. Our products like our clusters always cooperate with the driver, displaying the actual status of the car. Additional information like navigation information, radio and user settings are displayed on central information displays, developed by us too. One of the newest technologies is the fade in of information on the windshield with the Head-up Display.
All our products, like all other products in a car, have to fulfill their function even under the condition to be stressed by electromagnetic energy or electrical disturbances on the wires within the car. This interaction of the modules with the environment is defined as Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). EMC is an important part of the quality SiemensVDO requires for its own products.
As EMC Design Engineer you are a specialist in our HW group. You advices our HW developers in all areas of EMC:
Analyze and evaluate circuit designs and printed circuit boards (PCB) in terms of EMC, coordination of generic investigations.
Perform together with the HW developer EMC tests and optimize applications during development
Track and document the laboratory tests, evaluate the results
Continuous cooperation with the project team to reach common project targets
Be familiar with the international EMC test method standards and car manufacturer EMC requirements
Steer and track the task EMC for all our division projects according a process description.
Create EMC qualification documents and negotiate with experts of the car manufacturers about qualification documents.
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization. You will have an extensive training with German specialists. For this you will stay a longer time in Germany.

University Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Physics
