Job description:
• Comprehensive accounting of the company in accordance with legal regulations
• Sending reports and other documents required by the state administration
• Comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping in accordance with company resolutions and indications
• Providing all the explanations and information to the company in matters relating to performed Chief Accountant’s duties
• Control over cost documents in respect to accounting, tax and content.
• Management and supervision of timely financial month closure by subordinated employees.
• Team management & close cooperation with CFO
Our expectations:
• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Certified independent accountant will be an advantage
• Min. 3 years of experience on Chief Accountant position in an international company
• Very good practical knowledge of Romanian tax regulations
• Practical knowledge of International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standard
• Experience in managing accounting department in a complex business environment
• Experience in preparing monthly and annual declarations with calculation of income tax, declarations with goods and services tax calculation (VAT) and annual balance and calculation of profit and loss.
• Experience in contacting Romanian Income Office and Central Statistical Office
• Good English level
• Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-learning/researching needed to execute the same
• Being able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities
• Proactive and team player
