- maintain intranet application services, ensure reliability, security and availability of intranet and application services
- configure, maintain and test back-up and recovery systems for intranet and application environments
- install up-to-date patches or service packs for web and application software
- recover data and services in case of unplanned outages caused by HW and SW malfunctions
- establish, maintain and monitor of backup and recovery policies and procedures
- administer MSSQL and / or Oracle databases (standalone and clustered)
- extensive Windows or Unix/Linux Server Administration experience
- good skills with the following Web technologies: Microsoft???s IIS, Apache, Tomcat
- knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and understanding of document management systems (Livelink)
- deep know-how in administering Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL
- scripting abilities (SQL, VB)
- excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
- an understanding of ITIL Service Delivery and Support disciplines and methodologies
