WELDING INSPECTOR - WORLDWIDE, ONSHORE & OFFSHORE PROJECTS

RESPONSABILITATI

Co-ordinates Crossing, Connection, Line, Piles and Platform Welding activities and optimizes welding times and production, following the specifications and directives of the Site Manager and Assistant Manager.
Follow the Company safety standards
- The Wl ensures the performance of supervisory activities, Inspection and technical assistance for the welding operations; his functions Include:
- Checking the welding procedures and welders' qualifications;
- Performing the Visual Inspection of the Weld;
- Checking the availability and suitability of the filler metal and of preheating, welding, heat treatment and control equipment;
- Supervising the welding operations checking the suitability of protections and precautionary measures adopted by the welder both for the preservation of electrodes and for facing adverse atmospheric conditions;
- Checking the heat treatment recording diagrams;
- Ensuring that the inspections and checks are carried out and documented in accordance with Vie Quality Control Plan;
- Checking the extent of the repairs of the various welders, taking any corrective actions, if necessary,
