RESPONSABILITATI

A major and fast expanding international company, operating all over the world is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of VAT SPECIALIST.

Main responsibilities:

- Providing proactive advice and support;
- To identify and resolve issues relating to VAT;
- To identify and implement VAT savings and efficiency opportunities;
- To monitor for changes in VAT legislation and implementation;
- To work on projects and in diverse teams to improve, enhance and standardise VAT processes through systems and process improvements;
- To be involved with and to manage (as appropriate) external VAT audits and to liaise with, and provide required information;
- Tax Planning, Transfer Pricing, Audits, Corporate Tax, VAT, etc.


CERINTE

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related area;
- 2+ years experience of providing technical VAT advisory;
- Professional qualification in VAT;
- Fluent English and Romanian speaker;
- Strong numeric and computer skills, including ability to use Excel, Word and Powerpoint effectively;
- Attention to detail, analytical and pragmatic problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines;
- Ablility to develop strong working relationships and work well in diverse teams.
