RESPONSABILITATI

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- will prepare test strategy for assigned programmes and projects; the strategy should cover functional and non-functional testing
- will establish and manage appropriate test environment(s) as per programme/project plans
- establish/monitor use of standard test methodology with standard templates for all testing deliverables
- Quality Assurance for all test related deliverables for assigned programmes and projects
- will establish/manage automated testing capability
- oversee creation of test cases and scripts prepared by Test Analysts ensuring that business requirements are being adequately covered
- manage execution of formal acceptance tests and produce acceptance test reports and certificates; ensure deviations are identified and resolved
- establish test metrics repository and reporting function
- manage release testing function of major and minor upgrades

MAJOR RESPONSABILITIES:

- to be accountable for all aspects of testing IT solutions and services for assigned programmes and projects ensuring that objectives and requirements have been correctly addressed


CERINTE

WHAT WE EXPECT:

- at least 6-7 years experience in IT
- 2-3 years experience in setting up and managing a dedicated testing unit (either with a large corporate, consultancy or specialist testing services provider)
- at least 2-3 years experience of hands-on testing of new system implementations – this need not be as a dedicated tester, can be part of systems development role
- formal training/qualification in test management is desirable
- experience of selecting and implementing Test Management tools/service providers
- proven ability to adapt to working overseas in a multi-cultural environment
- proven ability to inspire teams to pay close attention to detail during testing
- deep knowledge of all stages and types of testing (functional, security, performance, recovery, load.stress)
