You will be working in a challenging, yet collaborative environment and will be responsible for in-market customer experience validation testing, driving our test automation efforts and collaborating with their peers to achieve all of the responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities
- Drive automation efforts for testing international and local market testing of MSN products and services.
- Customer Experience Validation Testing. Collaborate with the MSN Beta Team, Beta Participants in market, Deployment PM’s and Global Marketing Teams to ensure a great user experience of MSN Products and Services in local markets worldwide.
- Conduct Core, Performance, Globalization, Localizability and Localization Testing of locally developed MSN products and services.
- Periodically conduct international end-user performance testing to ensure users in local markets enjoy a high level of service from MSN.
- Assist our MSN business partners in their QA efforts to deliver high quality MSN branded products and services.
- Collaborate with the MSN International Test Team in Redmond and our test partners in Asia to ensure successful Globalization, Localizability and Localization testing for all MSN Products and Services.
- Collaborate with test teams from other product groups in Microsoft Ireland to ensure the MSN test team is using latest best practices in use across the company.
Essential Requirements
-Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience in International and Localization Testing of both software and web services.
- Knowledge of various application programming interfaces (APIs), programming models, and technologies to allow the scripting of automation regardless of language.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying automation scripts for testing international software and services.
- Proficiency at pro-actively establishing and sustaining highly positive and productive relationships with colleagues and partners across different teams and business units.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational skills. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
- Proven interest in delivering software as a service.
- Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and creativity. You thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, where ambiguity is the norm and problems are solved with "out-of-the-box" solutions.
Desirable
- In-depth understanding of a product/service lifecycle: from strategy and planning phase to post release maintenance.
