HP Credit is serving HP´s 3 Business Units with in depth credit analysis and guidance enabling maximal revenues while securing the bottom line profit.
The International Sales Europe ISE Region (Central Eastern Europe & Meadle East Mediterranean Africa) – Central Eastern Europe, Russia, CIS, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Middle East and Africa – is considered one of the fastest growing territories for IT business.
Within this region HP is selling IT Hardware and Services to Channel Partners but also direct Enterprise and Government customers.
HP ISE (CEE & MEMA) Credit is organized as a virtual team of Credit Analysts and Collection Specialists located in many of the countries and a newly established Center of Expertise in Bucharest.
The position of the Senior Credit Analyst for Hungary & Poland requires to review, analyze and monitor specific company financial information and other external factors such as industry data, country economic and political risk to determine external customer credit worthiness for customers located within Hungary & Poland. Manage and maintain internal and external customer relationship. Monitor the extension of credit to manage HP´s portfolio risk. Optimize AR performance. This position requires the ability and willingness to travel across the defined region.
It is critical for the job to have a broad knowledge of available information sources in regards to Political-, Economical-, Social-, Specific Industry- and Financial Information of the territory responsible for.
Financial / Economical Analysis
The Credit Analyst must be an expert in analyzing and interpreting company financial information as well as country / region macro-economical information.
Project Management
Ability to drive projects across various functions, countries and cultures.
Communication- and negotiation skills
Working in an environment of different countries and cultures would require a mature person with well developed communication skills being able to communicate and present at any level of internal or external management hierarchy.
The job is requiring expert knowledge using MS-Office tools, especially Excel but also excellent skills to summarize the outcome and to present to different levels of HP Management.
As the direct manager for this position is located in Europe, the person must have high self confidence, must be self starting and be able to motivate her-/him-self every day. There must be a very high ability to work under tremendous pressure to meet fixed deadlines. Ability to organize and set right priorities is a must. Also the position requires a personality which is very much results driven. It is required that the person is able to influence people across the whole spectrum of contacts while people do not direct report to into the function.
Good knowledge of Hungarian and Polish (at least one of both languages is a must, a person speaking both languages would be preferred).
