- will create portfolios of programmes and projects in line with strategic plans and business priorities
- will ensure that all programmes/projects have approved business cases and benefits realization plans
- tracks benefits accrual and provide feedback to Business Sponsors on achievement of expected benefits, proposing a realignment strategy if necessary
- will define, monitor and control programmes using best practice programme management methods and techniques and in line with Client project delivery framework
- oversee delivery of projects ensuring objectives are met and that project time, cost and quality is assured
- will ensure proper management of risk, issues and changes on all assigned programmes and projects
- facilitate definition, design and implementation of business and IT operational change by overseeing lead project managers in each area
- engage with relevant areas of business and IT to ensure that company policies, strategies, processes and standards are met
- will report programme performance on a regular basis to Senior Management using company standard reporting formats
- will establish governance structure using Programme and Project Steering Groups and resource programmes and projects according to the Client flexible resourcing strategy. Resources will be a mix of internal client staff and external consultants
MAJOR RESPONSABILITIES:
- to be accountable for delivery of business change programmes for assigned business initiatives/divisions
- change programmes include cross-divisional initiatives, major divisional initiatives and technical infrastructure initiatives
WHAT WE EXPECT:
- at least 12-15 years experience in IT with a large company or consultancy
- at least 3-4 years of managing business change programmes
- at least 4-5 years experience of hands-on project management including large, complex IT system implementations and vendor management
- managed budgets of up to AED 70M
- formal qualifications in program management and project management are desirable (ex. MSP, Prince2, PMP)
- broad knowledge of current technologies and strong commercial awareness
- domain knowledge of Airline/Travel, Corporate (Finance, HR etc), Dotcom (preferably from Travel, Retail, Banking sector) with deep understanding of at least one of these
