Our Client is looking for their Bratislava office for a network support position with the highest level of seniority in the team which is providing service to all custommers of our client.
Responsabilities:
• Analyzes and solves complex incidents involving several different & remote support teams, Identify root cause of incidents and make appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure
• Execute simple standard changes (routine) for the existing customers (LAN, WAN Security)
• From a technical perspective you will work with TCP/IP, various Security, LAN, WAN technologies - VLAN routing, VTP, Spanning Tree, BGP, MPLS, ISDN), Cisco, HP ProCurve, Nokia, Alcatel, Foundry, 3Com, Blade, Checkpoint firewall, FWSM, Nortel VPN concetrators, Juniper, CISCO ASA, Wireless, Load Balancing – F5 Big IP, CISCO ACE, CSS, CSM, VoIP, …
• Ensure network of the customers continues to operate efficiently with minimum downtime
• Understands, synthesis and clarifies customer need
• Proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality, adapts quickly to new technology & understands complex infrastructures
• Acts as point of contact for customers and Delivery Leads for complex technical issues.
• Providing help, coaching and training to TS, CC and GSD teams to spread out network knowledge and experience
• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or management information systems, understanding of ITIL and ITSM is an advantage
• At least 3 years experience in IT operations and Network operations
• Cisco Certification to at least Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience, CCNP is an advantage
• Experience in troubleshooting a broad range of network technologies, strong expertise in at least one specific network technology
• Analytical and complex incident solving skills, ability to coordinate complex network changes involving several different support teams, ability to meet deadlines
• Fluent English is a must
