CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
Carry out all contract administration tasks including preparation of SAP requests
Review and draft contractual/commercial correspondence from and to subcontractors
Review, evaluate and agree variations
Verify and process contractor applications for payment
Review, analyse and evaluate contractors claims for delay and additional expense
Enter into SAP all contract requisitions.
Perform cost control follow-up of the contract
Review contractor final accounts
Develop contract cost and budget data
Prepare monthly construction cost reports
Coordinate and interface with project services (contract administration & cost control) in London / Milan offices on all matters related to Contract administration and cost control
Benchmark costs as applicable
Align corporate C&P documents with internal TR 3 ones.
Provide direction in the preparation of ITT bid submissions evaluation procedures and criteria
Identify and assess the suitability of potential contractors.
Participate in Bidder clarification activities and prepare recommendation to award submissions.
Assist with contract formation and monitor contract through their implementation
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills.
Familiarity with both Project and Corporate contract administration and cost control procedures
Extensive knowledge of computer cost based tools (SAP,...)
Knowledge of Microsoft suite e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with cost probabilistic and associated software
Familiarity with the operating aspects of offshore operations and onshore installations
Familiarity with Contract Administration, Cost Control and Reporting requirements
Ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex technical / contractual problems;
Proactive approach to decisional process (in the pertinent discipline)
Full understanding of HSE importance in planning and executing projects. Proactive approach to HSE issues and process safety/hazard management;
Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
We look for someone who has occupied an equivalent position, working on large size projects, preferably in the petrochemical field.
STUDIES
University graduation technological and science discipline.
LANGUAGE
English commercial level is mandatory
Other languages, complementary.
Knowledge of:
Project Management, including Work plan & Budget, Project Planning, Risk analysis, Cost control - Budgeting, Project Management methodologies and techniques.
Problem solving abilities.

In septembrie 2006, PETROCONSULT a primit contractul de a construi, impreuna cu TECHNIP-Franta (Contractorul General EPC), prima rafinarie de petrol din Vietnam (6.5 MTA), la Dung Quat, Vietnamul Central.
PETROCONSULT furnizeaza si Servicii de Training pentru operare si mentenanta pentru aceasta rafinarie, lucrarile fiind in curs.
Compania a participat si participa la proiecte in domeniul industriei de petrol si gaze, in strainatate, in peste 25 de tari.
