In this role you will be working to support EMEA and WW customers. On a day to day basis you will provide mainly changes of firewall infrastructure, problem management and basic change management services. The task will be to provide migration from older firewall devices and their infrastructure to the newest technologies. You’ll need to be pro-active and regularly analyze data at your disposal to help drive improvement in quality and productivity of services. You will be responsible for providing the change end-to-end: manage all processes and clients in the infrastructure and ensure project time schedule with acces on minimalising impact of the firewall infrastructure change on client network traffic.
Responsabilites:
•Modify computer security files to incorporate new software, correct errors, or change individual access status.
•Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
•Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.
•Review violations of computer security procedures and discuss procedures with violators to ensure violations are not repeated.
•Network size: network of EMEA Enterprise clients
•Server: Windows server 2000/2003/2008,
•Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or management information systems, understanding of ITIL and ITSM is an advantage
•At least 3 years experience in firewall operations and Network engineering
•Experienced in CheckPoint, Cisco/Juniper firewalls management and implementation.
•HW: NOKIA, Crossbeam & UNIX based devices.
•SW: IPSO, SPLAT - advantage.
•CCSA is a must, CCSE is an advantage
•Checkpoint – standalone & Provider-1; VSX of advantage – not requirement
•Experience in troubleshooting a broad range of network technologies, strong expertise in at least one specific firewall technology
•Analytical and complex incident solving skills, ability to coordinate complex network changes and time management involving several different support teams and groups of users, ability to meet deadlines.
•Experiences with project management is an advantage
•Fluent English is a must, German is a nice to have.
•working schedule: EMEA working time – no shifts, 10:00 – 14:00 office hours. Benefit – home office (after probation period possibility of working from home up to 50% of the week).
