For our Colt office in Sibiu we are looking to take onboard a Product manager FMC Vas with at least 7-8 years exprience in Telco industry.
Role purpose:
• The main responsibility is to design and manage the delivery of Value-Added Services (VAS) platform addressing Fix/Mobile Converged services in the context of an MVNO launch.
• Key contributor of Colt mobile strategy and service portfolio, for successful development of fixed-mobile activities across Europe
Key accountabilities:
• Build technical specifications of VAS platform for Fix Mobile Convergence (FMC) services from marketing requirements
• Define architecture, Interfaces (BSS, OSS, CRM, wireless network,...), Dependencies (e.g. devices), and Features list
• Work in close collaboration with Product Managers of existing Colt portfolio so that Wireless and FMC requirements are captured into product roadmap
• Maintain VAS FMC roadmap in full alignment with Wireless Network, Provisioning / Billing System, Devices roadmap
• Monitor market evolution (services, technical solution, new player, competition offering, ...)
• Provide Technical support to Operations teams
• Define Managed Services offer (scope of work & SLA) around Colt mobile/converged VAS
• Design and lead implementation of process and workforce to deliver Managed Services
• Provide support to Sales forces for specific event / customer needs when relevant
Experience:
• Significant experience in VAS product management within a telecommunication operator or an equipment supplier
Skills:
• Understanding of Wireless market dynamics, including Enterprise market trends, competitive landscape, related technologies
• Technical expertise in mobile network architecture (incl. MVNO) and end-user services (mobile Voice, Messaging, Unified Communication, roaming, wifi offloading, VoIP, mobile cloud, mobile device/apps management, Fix/Mobile Convergence, ...)
• Ability to engage and collaborate with various internal stakeholders (Architect, Product Managers, Sales teams, Operations teams), customers and external stakeholders (apps and device partners, MNO partner,...) with relevant communication
• Excellent communication skills and expertise in presentation techniques
• English Fluent, any other western European language is favourable
Colt began in 1992 with funding from Fidelity Investments. Within a year we’d completed 15 km of our London network, and been granted a PTO licence so that we could offer voice and transmission services. We soon had our very first customer.
We then signed various interconnect agreements and by 1995 had completed the initial phase of our network in London’s West End. That meant we could compete for business amongst the vibrant media, advertising and broadcasting community located in that area. We won more and more customers and by 1996 Colt was floated on the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ. We opened for business in Frankfurt, and gained our licence to operate in France.
Our European expansion continued as we raised new capital, won many awards, and began to work in Spain, Switzerland, and deepen our presence in France and Germany.
As of today, we are Europe’s leading information delivery platform, with over 35,000 European business and government customers. We have the fastest end-to-end European Ethernet network, seamlessly connecting over 100 cities. We also own and operate 19 state-of-the-art data centres.
