This position is responsible for full support, operation and system integration of the Marquardt IT documentation system.
Essential Functions
1. Provide full level support for the IT documentation system based on the software product Atlassian Confluence
2. Support end users and enable them for proper utilization of the Wiki features
3. Operate the system’s backend server according to internal ITIL Service management guidelines
4. Maintain system and support documentation continuously
5. Integrate the IT documentation system into the Marquardt system landscape – basically including the Enterprise Workplace (Sharepoint) and Helpdesk (OTRS)
6. Contact software vendors and communities for problem resolution and feature requests
Required Skills and Knowledge
1. Professional experience with System administration according to ITIL Service management standards
2. Sound understanding of system integration in a Microsoft ecosystem (Outlook, Exchange, Sharepoint)
3. Administration of Apache Tomcat Java servlet engine
4. Advanced knowledge and experience with Atlassian Confluence or similar Wiki systems
5. User Macro scripting experience
6. Ability to travel internationally.
7. Ability to collaborate with worldwide teams.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
