Short Job Description
In addition to your active collaboration in our First Level Support, you are responsible for trainings (regarding the handling of our scanning and archiving processes), you organize the maintenance of the globally distributed scanning equipment and you are working on the implementation of IT Requests (e.g. as programmer). After you’ve got the necessary skills and expertise it is planned that you will act as project leader for the globally rollout of scanning functionalities in the area of document archiving. All new implementations have to be developed as part of a “Global Template” approach.
Detailed description of the position
You are responsible for the carrying out of the daily system monitoring (System Health, Memory Check…);
You organize globally the maintenance of the existing scanning equipment;
You implement new SER application releases (on clients and servers);
You create and maintain technical documentations;
You administer Windows and UNIX systems and you configure the installed applications which are installed on these systems;
You develop new search and storage dialogs via SAP Basic in the SER Archive;
You create training concepts for scanning and archiving processes and you develop/maintain the associated training materials for end users;
You perform independently trainings about the handling of the scanning and archiving processes for our international colleagues;
You work in the first-level support in order to help and solve issues of our internal customers;
You coordinate from Marquardt side the troubleshooting requests with the software manufacturer SER;
You implement new scanning and archiving processes with our SAP ERP System within the Marquardt world;
You work closely with the software manufacturer SER in order to realize archiving projects.
Technical skills:
Ideally, you have a computer science degree or a similar professional apprenticeship in IT fields and you had acquired the necessary skills and experiences in your former position/job:
Experiences with Windows and UNIX servers are required;
Basic programing skills (SAX Basic or another Basic language) are required;
Java programming skills are optional;
Basic knowledge in SAP, especially in the ArchiveLink interface, is desired.
Occupational and personal skills:
Very good English skills (fluent in spoken and written) as well as German skills are expected;
The ability to work structured and independent is required;
Flexibility, willingness to travel and good communication skills are essential. (E.g. it is necessary for incorporation in your tasks to stay several weeks at our headquarter in Germany).
