The major responsibilities of this role will be:
- cost calculation and analysis;
- key product analysis;
- business plan support;
- plant KPI analysis.
The Controller is responsible for the planning process and the budget compliance, manufacturing variance analysis and inventory control, monthly variance analysis and performance reporting including commentary. The controller has to perform the plant controlling, identify improvement projects with the plant manager and drive action to improve performance.
♦ Graduate degree in business administration from a university or technical school and / or MBA with a major in controlling, finance or equivalent vocational business training;
♦ Several years of practical experience in Controlling, especially plant controlling, and finance;
♦ Efficient in SAP system with a good understanding of manufacturing processes;
♦ Have strong understanding of financial reporting;
♦ Good computer skills for cost analysis & reporting (Excel, Database);
♦ Fluent written and spoken English;
♦ Fluent written and spoken German;
♦ Leadership skills to coach others;
♦ Experience in the automotive sector would be helpful;
♦ Foreign work experience would be advantageous.
