RESPONSABILITATI

Maintain supply base within the category for category "Special Metals", focusing on forging assembly (FAS) and CQI processes ( e.g. heat treatment, welding)
Support supply base and technology issues for other metal categories ( stamping, casting, machining)
Responsibility for the availability of quality and technology capable suitable suppliers for specified products within the category
Plan, initiate, implement and control/track the effective supplier quality assurance measures along complete process chain
Release of suppliers for the respective supplier panle
Responsibility to drive supplier improvement programs and supplier coach activities within the category
Develop suppliers to fulfill the internal Continental Automotive requirements and external customer requirements
Preparation and performing management meetings with suppliers
Preparation and performing supplier visits, meetings and VDA6.3 audits (including introduction of new suppliers, locations and technologies)
Support for escalation topic (e.g. Red Alert)
Evaluation and ranking of the suppliers in terms of performance within the category
Negotiation of quality contracts


CERINTE

Fluent in english - both sploken and written
Dynamic person - willing to travel
Good communicational skills
Experience with Automotive Quality standards
Technical background - University
Extensive know-how in cold and hot forging, assemblies, heat treatment and wellding and secondary processes and su supplier technologies
Know-how on other metal production technologies required ( e.g. stamping, casting)
Auditor knowledge ( VDA6.3, ISO/TS 16949)
Quality skills ( e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, SPC)
Analytic approach, self assured, ability to work under pressure, ability to convince others, result orientation, decision making ability, willingness to take responsibility team, spirit, negotiation skills, high willingness to travel of Mechanics, Electromechanical or relevant
Driver License would be a plus
