Software Development Manager
A growing technology company in the United States is looking for an individual that will lead a software development team in Romania.
Job Description:
The company is looking for a person with strong enterprise architectural skills and successful Project Management experience. The Software Development Manager will lead a team of experienced developers in Romania. The position will require assembling a team of local talent that is skilled in developing web applications in the Microsoft .Net environment using Visual Studio, VB.Net, SQL Server, and JavaScript. Project deliverables and software specifications will be provided to the Manager with goals and timeline requirements. The Manager will assess the requirements and be responsible for lining up the resources needed to successfully complete the projects.

Bucharest, Romania
Duties:
? Must assemble a team of highly motivated software developers in Romania
? Will actively participate in recruitment of software development team members
? Must be able to lead development of highly complex applications based-upon written specifications
? Manage multiple development projects simultaneously
? Accurately estimate project effort, schedule and resource requirements based upon provided specifications
? Effectively communicate project status to management, with periodic detailed status reports
Requirements:
? Minimum seven years experience in software development
? Minimum five years in project management
? Strong project management skills
? Experience in software application design and development, including deploying and maintaining web applications using Microsoft .Net
? Hands-on programming knowledge required, some programming responsibilities assumed for this position
? Strong problem solving skills
? Fluency in English, with good oral and written communications skills
? Bachelor\\?s degree in Computer Sciences or related technical discipline required; advanced degree (Master?s or PhD) preferred
? Must provide multiple references
? Samples of work must be provided
? Written examination may be required
