Manager of Olefins Plant Operation in Port Harcourt, Nigeria
Responsible for managing the Cracker Plant operation with respect to production target efficiency and safety, resolving plant problems, organising manpower training, etc.
Also responsible for preparation of the feasibility report.
Needs to manage day to day operations of the plant, maintaining production targets, planning shut down activities, executing schemes for operations flexibility and safe operation.
Budgeting and production planning to achieve production / safety / cost and reliability targets of the plant.
Reports to the Head of Olefins
Target oriented manager with 18 - 20 years experience, including significant gas cracking exposure to lead a team of 23, including 3 direct reports. Must have above average English skills and be able to maintain efficiency targets, resolve plant problems, maintain plant safety and organise manpower training.
Must also be able to undertake budget and production planning to achieve production, safety, cost and reliability targets of the plant.

- strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- ability to perform well under pressure
- ability to guide and motivate the entire team
Educational Qualifications - B.E. / B. Tech - Chemical
Salary = Euros 4500 per month net + benefits + bonus (negotiable)
Economy Air Ticket home 3 times per year for a maximum of 26 days at a time.
