Our client is a major multinational group acting in the automotive field, looking for a Design Responsible Engineer with the following responsibilities:
* the working location will be in Italy and the labour contract is unlimited;
Planning, coordination and follow up of component and subsystem design, virtual validation priorities, development priorities, validation and release according to Product Program and Master Timing
Definition of components and subsystem based on function, cost, manufacturing and specification requirements
Assessment of supplier offers regarding technical content, timing and project requirements
Assessment and consolidation of development results
Technical release of components and subsystem. Ensure that design will meet program functionality
Continuous product improvement and cost reduction planning and coordination
Evaluate requested design changes, following and using tools and procedures
Drawing standard and data check (included test specification and material definition)
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Certificate
At least 3 years of experience on engine (high power density) complex components and assembly design
Knowledge of Unigraphics CAD system (Pro Engineer welcome), ASME standard and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of 3D modelling of complex components and systems
Fluent English both spoken and written.
