Do you have experience with VAT accounting? Would you like to work on transferring agenda from foreign countries to Bratislava? Than we have the best opportunity for you. Our client is in need of SENIOR VAT SPECIALIST.
Main responsibilities would include:
Traveling to foreign countries and communication with VAT specialists
Improving processes for high efficiency in VAT agenda
Transferring all VAT activities
Consulting for company management about needs in transferring process
Preparing tax postings for the tax returns
Reconciliation VAT and INTRASTAT returns
Preparing detailed review of monthly tax returns related to VAT and INTRASTAT
Consulting for internal clients about VAT accounting, tax codes and other related tasks
Ensure accurate VAT returns
Participating on internal and external tax audit
Calculating and posting accruals
Training and coaching for juniors in VAT team
Requirements
The candidate should meet the following criteria:
Master's degree in finance
Minimum 3 years experience in accounting
Experience with VAT on similar position
Fluent English is a MUST (other foreign language on active level would be a big advantage, preferably Hungarian/Polish)
Advanced user of MS Excel
Experience with SAP would be an advantage
