Job Profile:
- Provides QHSE guidance, coordination and chief auditor leadership for compliance, governance and QHSEMS issues at Ras Laffan plant and offshore operations. Interacts as appropriate for QHSE auditor training program, establishes audit inspection schedule and inspection teams, ensures report preparation, and with QHSE Manager, keeps management informed of follow-up actions for areas of concern.
- Inspections include plant and offshore in order to maintain safe and environmentally responsible operations.
- Assists management in establishing QHSE goals for ¿measurement, evaluation and continuous improvement¿. Co-ordinates and implements company goals to attain / maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, OHSAS 18001 certifications.
- Helps ensure all aspects of QHSE are done per regulatory requirements.
- Ensures document control and record-keeping are in order, and performs statistical analyses of audit activities as required.
A. Knowledge:
Education:
- Technical/scientific discipline with a minimum of a bachelor¿s degree from an accredited university.
Qualification / Specialisations :
- Certificate/Diploma in QHSE related field.
Experience :
- Auditor experience with minimum of five years experience of Management Systems and Procedures in adherence to ISO 9001/ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001.
- At least 2 years spent in auditing for Oil & Gas organisation.
B. Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of standard technical & HSE practices in petroleum industry. Good technical writing skills are required. Qualified and experienced Auditor with good understanding of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and other relevant systems forming part of a ¿best practice¿ integrated process management system.
Managerial Skills:
- Experience in management of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental issues. Previous experience managing HSE audit teams, budgetary control and management level input to both strategic and operational development.
- Very good IT skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, intranet).
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
Start date: mid-January 2007.
- This will be minimum 2 year assignment (yearly renewable contract) on resident basis and caries day rate of USD 375-400 per worked day (22 working days/month).
